JODY RATCLIFFE
CALLED AS
ASSOCIATE PASTOR FOR YOUTH AND EDUCATION
In a called church
conference on Wednesday, May 28, the church voted to call Jody
Ratcliffe to fill the position of Associate Pastor. He will support
our education and pastoral ministries and lead our youth ministry.
He also will support our outreach efforts within our church and to
our community. His first official day will be Monday, June 16.
Jody also will be
completing his studies at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He
is “in class” this week, but will be able to do most of his course
work locally. Next week, Melanie will be leading a group a girls at
Camp LaVida, so Jody will be serving as
Mr.
Mom to the
children at home.
Jody and Melanie have
been “back home” since December. Their family has been active at
FBCWC, their home church, in between speaking engagements and other
IMB commitments. They are on a two-year leave of absence from the
International Mission Board. We look forward to this time of
ministry together with Jody and Melanie.
Be in prayer for Jody, Melanie, MaCayla, Leia and Aiden
for this new phase of their ministry and as they look for a place to
live and set up housekeeping.
